No Más Elders Y Nuevas Clases

Hello everyone! How are all you lovely people?? Miss you all so much! Another week has gone by here at the Provo mtc. This week was definitely a little slower and there were lots of changes. I have like 5 more days here at the mtc so I am getting nervous and excited to get to my mission!

All of the elders in my district left for the field and are all in their missions now. After spending like 11 hours a day with them for 6 weeks straight we all got super tight so it was sad to see them all go. They are gonna be awesome missionaries though and I am excited for the reunion once we all get home. Like half are going to BYU so we will cross paths which is so awesome! Also I started visitors center training which has been fun! I learned a bit more about what I am gonna do as a visitors center missionary and how that all sorta works so here's the rundown.

There are 13 visitors' centers around the world. There are roughly 74,000 missionaries worldwide right now (I know crazy right??) and about 500 missionaries are called to serve in a visitors center. So if you do the math only about 0.6% of all missionaries are called to a visitors center mission. When our teacher said this in class it made us all feel pretty special and definitely got me even more excited! I've definitely come a long way because when I opened my call I was not excited in the slightest but now I feel very blessed and lucky to serve in a visitors center mission!

The Mesa temple visitors center is the only visitors center with bilingual exhibits so hopefully that will help me learn Spanish faster and give me more opportunities to speak the language. I will mainly be giving tours and just explaining the purpose of the temple to people. The Mesa VC is very catered towards the youth which is awesome! I will be serving in different areas in the mission and just drive to the visitors center on the days I have shifts there. I think I will be there 2-3 days a week and will be proselytizing the other days. In classes I am learning how to give tours, how to have good body language, smiling, and asking effective questions and things like that. Anyways that's what I know so far and that's what I have been learning about this week! Sorry that was super long.

Had my last Tuesday devo here at the mtc which I am so sad about. I am gonna miss having such good devos every week. Last night Sister Marcia Nielson and Elder Brent Nielson spoke and it was such a good devo as always!

Anyways here are some quotes from my weekly studies and random devos and stuff

"If I love living His life then that is the life I will get to live forever"

"It may take all the faith you have just to keep your little craft afloat"

"When we have made a mistake we should feel remorse and sorrow, when we have done all we can, we have to ask God to carry the parts we can't repair or repay"

The Lord wants to refine us and help us grow. When we make mistakes He is there to help correct us and to help pick up the pieces that are too heavy for us to lift by ourselves. That's my spiritual thought for the week!

I don't know when my next pday will be but I will likely leave the mtc on Monday and have pday the following Monday. Sorry for the long email. Love you all!
