Muchos Bautismos En Septiembre (Dsperamos)

Hola a todos! Miss you guys and hope you all had a good week! My week was pretty good. Somehow I've been here in Mesa for almost a month already which is crazy. Anyways Hermana Jones leaves tomorrow which is sad. She's taught me so much and she's an awesome missionary. Also she's been the translator for me and Hna Gonzalez so the language barrier will make things a little harder but it'll help me learn Spanish so it'll be good. This week felt kinda long because we had 3 exchanges. Two normal ones and one in the VC. But things are still going great and we have 4 more people on date for baptism so 5 total right now which is absolutely awesome!! Also we combined with another area and played with nerf guns during district sports last week which was fun! Something I loved from this week was watching the sunsets cuz the sunsets here in AZ are gorgeous every night and always make me smile!

Ok so I had an exchange on Tuesday with Hermana DeMarco and it was fun! She went on a run with me in the morning which was soooo good! It's starting to cool down a little bit here so running in the morning is actually tolerable now which is good cuz I'm getting fat from all the double dinners and mexican food. Anyways we knocked a bunch of doors and she loves singing so she wanted to sing to people when they opened the door. Like Christmas caroling but it's not a Christmas song and it's also 105 outside. Also we got bananas in a lesson. Anyways that was basically my exchange haha it was fun!

I love it here in my area and I love the people we are teaching. This week 4 more of our friends accepted the invitation to be baptized so we are super super excited about that! Which means if all goes to plan we will have one baptism every week for 3 weeks in a row which is so crazy and exciting! The lady who agreed to be baptized a couple weeks ago has 3 kids who are old enough and 2 of them want to be baptized on the same day as her and one of them wants to pray about it first. The dad is a new member and he wants to baptize them all which would be so cool!

Something I liked from my studies this week is from a talk called "A Yearning for Home" by Dieter F. Uchtdorf. A quote I like is "No, following the Savior will not remove all of your trials. However, it will remove the barriers between you and the help your Heavenly Father wants to give you." I like this because even when we are following Christ and being faithful, life will still be hard but the closer we get to Christ, the smaller the barrier gets between us and the help that our Heavenly Father can give us.

Next week my pday will be on Tuesday cuz we are going to the temple! Anyways love and miss you all and hope you have a good week! Btw I can't use google photos anymore so in the meantime I will just attach as many photos as I can in my email each week.
