Hombres Muy Raros En Facebook Y Milagros!!!

Hola a todos! Miss you guys as always! Hope you had a good week. My week was jam packed and super busy but we saw lots of miracles and got lots done. Very productive week and it went by pretty fast.

I got a few more wild messages this week. I'll attach the screenshot of one of them below. But also I found someone named José who speaks Spanish and is actually super interested. We decided to call him when he was active on facebook and ended up sharing a scripture and getting his info. So I've gotten a lot of wierd messages recently but also had some sucess which is cool to see.

We had a huge miracle this week with a guy named Rubén. He referred himself to the missionaries through a YouTube video link so we got his information but it was pday and then we were in the vc and then it was zone conference so by the time we actually got in contact with him it had been a bit. He had referred himself twice and we thought it was a glitch or something cuz we had two of the same referrals. He just really needed to talk to the missionaries. Earlier in the week we went part-member finding and somehow ended up going to the same house two different times but it showed up as two different people somehow. We were super confused but then later in the week when we talked to Rubén we realized he is the dad of the person who's house we had gone to two different times earlier in the week. He is the only member in the part-member we had tried to visit. He is inactive so we had never met him before and that's why we didn't make the connection until then. It was crazy to see how God guides us to exactly where we need to be. Even though we didn't end up talking to anyone when we visited the house those two times, we were able to see how everything kinda came full circle. Not only are we are guided to those who need us, but they are guided to us.

We also started handing out invitations to the Christmas lights at the temple and giving machines! Pulled up to our friend Ramiros house to teach him a lesson and he was outside drinking beer and jamming out to music so we ended up just inviting him to Christmas lights haha. Next lesson is gonna be on the word of wisdom. Also invited a policeman to Christmas lights in the church parking lot after church on Sunday. We bought some tamales from a guy selling them on the side of the road and invited him to church and the lights. Best tamales I've ever eaten.

We had zone conference on Tuesday and it was super good! Elder McGinnins, one of our zone leaders made me stand up and read this quote which is gonna be my spiritual thought for this week because it's so so good. It's from a talk called "The Imperfect Harvest" by Vern P. Stanfill. The quote reads "I believe that as Peter and the Savior walked back to the ship arm in arm, Peter soaking wet and perhaps feeling very foolish, the Savior may have said something like this: "Oh, Peter, fear not and worry not. If you could see yourself as I see you, your doubt would fade and your faith increase. I love you, dear Peter; you got out of the boat. Your offering is acceptable, and even though you faltered, I will always be there to lift you from the depths, and your offering will be made perfect." I was told to change my name in place of Peter's and imagine if the Savior was saying this to me right now. I got out of the boat by starting my mission and by deciding to serve the Lord. It's not easy to get out of the boat and give up everything. There are times where I falter and times where I feel like I don't measure up. But its in those times where I feel cloest to my Savior. No matter how humble or imperfect our offering may seem, if we sincerely lay everything at His feet then the Lord will turn our humble efforts into a perfect harvest.

Sorry this email is so long! Love and miss you all!
