Una Semana Muy Divertida Y Dios Es Bueno

Hola a todos! Miss you guys! Hope you all had a good week! My week was actually really good and we did a lot of fun things and saw tons of miracles so I'll try not to make this too long.

Last week for pday we went to a place called Reptile Junction and there were tons of lizards and snakes and animals and I got to hold a little turtle and it was super cute!

I had an exchange in the vc with Sister Keller on Wednesday and we gave an awesome tour to a guy in a wheelchair who can't really stand or walk at all but at the end of the tour when we were at the Christus, with the help of the missionaries and a member, he stood up and held Jesus's hand and it was just a super tender moment and the spirit was super strong.

We did a blitz and found some people for the elders and invited lots of people to chritmas lights. The sunset and the superstition mountains were super pretty and I was just feeling super blessed that day.

On Friday I helped film a Facebook video downtown and since we were already downtown and we didn't have a member dinner that day, we decided to go to a Venezuelan restaurant called Que Chevere. It was so fun and Venezuelan food is so good! Another awesome sunset as well. The sunsets in Arizona are so good.

We had an awesome lesson with Margarita and her kids and they want to be baptized super soon! We are still ironing out details for that and figuring everything out but as of now the 3 kids are planning on getting baptized on Saturday and we are still figuring out details with Margarita. We have been consistently visiting them since I got here and we were super sad when they didn't end up getting baptized last time. But everytime since then that we have planned on talking about baptism with them, it just didn't feel right. Then, out of the blue all the stars aligned and everything just worked out perfectly. Patience really does bring blessings. Also the branch I am serving in has had at least one baptism every month for the last 21 months and the baptism that the elders were gonna have for this month fell through and then everything lined up and we are keeping the streak going!

A spanish family came into the vc and asked me and my comp to give them a tour and like halfway through we were talking to one of the guys and he mentioned some engligh classes that he used to go to and named the crossroads and it just so happened to be the church building that our branch meets at. We found out that he is a member in our branch and we had never even heard of him and we were able to get his info and the info of the rest of his family who aren't members but who also live in our area. Not even the elders area of our branch, me and my comps proselyting area. It was a huge miracle and we were able to give them an awesome tour and watch a video with them and we are super excited to go visit them soon.

Something that has been on my mind a lot this week and just recently is God's timing. It may not always seem this way to us, but no matter what, His timing is perfect. We often need to have a lot of patience to see how His timing and plan is working in our lives and though we don't always agree with it, His plan is better than ours. Alma 38:3 says "I have had great joy in thee already, because of thy faithfulness and thy diligence, and thy patience and thy long-suffering" and I like that because it doesn't talk about the sucess he had or anything like that. Alma is just telling Helaman that he was proud of him for being faithful, patient, dilligent, and long-suffering. God is proud of us and when we are patient with Him and His timing for us, and He blesses us even more. I have been able to see that so much recently. God is good and when we are patient and dilligent, He will bless us with miracles.

The Christmas lights at the temple start this week so wish me luck because it's gonna be chaos and long days with slightly less sleep but I'm excited! Also next week is Temple Tuesday yayyy!! Ok love and miss you all!
